Welcome to another edition of Sports Sunday! Today we have an interview with author Kate McMurray. I’ve read quite a few of her baseball books, and I am thrilled to have her here to talk to us about baseball and her writing!
El and DMac have teamed up to bring you a September full of baseball-themed Sports Sunday posts! Every weekend for the next month, we’ll highlight the intersection of ‘queer’ and ‘baseball’, from the MLB to our favorite authors and beyond.
Today we’re excited to welcome author Tiffany Reisz to the site. Tiffany is the author of The Original Sinners series, The Night Mark, and the upcoming Michael’s Wings— and more! She’s also an avid baseball fan, and has been known to overlap her writing and her love for the sport.
Welcome Tiffany!
In case you missed it, we had Tillie Walden on the blog last week to talk about her stunning upcoming graphic memoir, Spinning, and about growing up a closeted lesbian athlete, homophobia in sports, and more!
Normally we have Sports Sunday on, well, Sunday, but due to the holiday we’re having it on Saturday this week!
